Us, band members were actually suppose to BE a part of the celebration. Due to some reasons, we were cancelled.

Anyway, Syafiq or Zee or Vivian or whoever you are, please do edit this post.

New Instruments.

New instruments will come this March. No, it's not just a saying. It's what the teacher told us. They signed for it already.
So, it is CONFIRMED that the new instruments will come this March.

Those wanting to change their instruments must inform the teachers first. First come, first serve.

Some of the new instruments mentioned are:

- Clarinet. ;)
- 2 other new euphoniums.
- 2 / 4 new drums.
- Alto Saxophone.
- Tenor Saxophone.

Also, starting this March, there will ONLY be 5 teachers teaching us. Right now, there are 7 or 8 teachers hence some teachers will not teach us. And, one of the teachers not teaching us is Ck. Metussin.

this sunday will be an off day.. =( why? i don't know.. ckgu Metussin(Zien's favourite teacher) ckp psl on monday national day.. so yeahh........

FOR YOUR INFORMATION,

You can't, and i repeat, you CANNOT bring your drums home without the teacher's permission.

Alright?

If your teacher told you to bring it, then you bring it.

HOWEVER, if you don't have anyone's permission to bring the drum home, do not bring it.

Especially if it's not the MS's drum.

No practice.

National Day Practice. Day 1.

So, today officially marks the first day of our rehearsal for the National Day this year.

Official? because we combined with the PU1s and march round the school under the bright hot sun non-stop for like 20 minutes or more.

However, it wasn't tiring. was it? ;)

Also, i've got some bad news.

Jane, Hidayah, Taufiq, Adib and Teo can't come for the rehearsal nor can they come during the actual day as their coach restricted them from going to this marching band.

UNLESS, they don't wanna do the dance thingiee and join us instead. Coolio.

TO ALL BAND MEMBERS,

Please go the carpark behind the auditroium at 2pm till 4pm to measure all of your uniforms.

And, from Monday onwards, there will be practice at 2pm till 4pm. EVERY SINGLE DAY UNTIL THE NATIONAL DAY.

The goods and the bads. However, as usual, i can only think of the Bads, so, sorry. IF i can think of the pros, i will do it.

18th August 2008, a perfect day to escape the morning classes. oh yes, this was taken between 8:43:00am to 9:11:06am at the Indoor Stadium for the Sekolah Rendah Pesta Sukan.. something like that. Lower School Sports Parade? whatever.

and I agree that abang Haziq Hazizi is a very good leader. like sooo much much much better than who's who? I get what you mean, Zien. seriously, we all do. Syafiq's best friend bahh! and I am sooooo very sad to hear that they are actually leaving the band. as in for this year ONLY, right? riiiight? Haziq Hazizi is the leader of Maktab Sains Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan school band, FULL STOP! no one can replace him. because you are a great leader (; OK, I am actually out of words here, that's why I keep on blabbing about the leader thing. gosh. we all get the idea.

right. here's what I have to say. since our favourite teachers are leaving us and again, our favourite leader and his brother, Qawiy Asyraf, the great drummer (kambang ia tu), we, the band members should behave just a liiiiiiil bit mature and yeah, maybe that's all. plus, we should shut our traps when the teachers are talking. unless, they pissed us off :p HAHA! to improve the connection between the teachers and students. HELL, this is NOT me, not Azeemah Natasha. I don't talk like this, I don't write like this, I am the only girl who plays futsal with the guys during band classes and here I am giving you good girls and boys crap. ARGGGGH! zeerdo alert.

I AM PISSED OOOOOOOOOOFF, my musical friends. my pictures during the third concert are soo sikiiit ); is it because I was running around and climbing on the walls (unsuccessfully.) with abg Haziq and Qawiy? haha most probably yes, palui, I hurt myself for that. anyways, I have a suggestion! Zien, as you are my Simon Cowell, no offence, that's so cool you know. HAHAHA. comment each and one of us about our attitude. the good ones and the bad ones. so we can change ourselves to a better person :p or make a list of who is the smartest? who is the ugliest? who is the best drummer? NEVERMIIND. this is lame. I'm just jobless, reaally.

Hello guys.. the time now shows exactly 11.32.pm. It's kinda late already but ive already planned to post this text before the clock strikes 12 o'clock...



This message goes to all of you,The MS Marching band.



Okay. It's really tough for me to say this but i have to tell all of you anyway. 31st of January 2009 (yesterday) might be the last performance that i'm gonna join. For this couple of weeks, you guys can hardly see me coming for the band practice. Well there's a reason behind all this.



Qawiy and I are being restricted to come to school for the music class every friday and sunday. This is because of Qawiy. He wanted to take Olevel june exam this year but he could'nt submit the form as his result last year was not very satisfying. The school did not allow him to take part in the june exam. When my father knew about his result,he was very dissapointed. So in the end both qawiy and me were grounded..until now..that's why we didnt come to school for the practice for these few weeks.. I'm sorry i didnt tell you Vivian about this. But I've informed all the music tutors about this matter and they're okay with it. Soon one of you will replace me,take the responsibilities as the head of the band. I know i'm not a good leader and i couldn't do my responsibilities right. I'm sorry. But i hope ur next head of band would be better than me. =)) I dont know if i can join u guys marching for the National day. But i believe you guys can do it very well nanti...im looking forward to see u guys march infront of His Majesty. =))



Hmmmm...let me recall back. I can still remember vividly when i first entered the school band. Early last year if im not mistaken..hehe. There were four of us that entered the band together. Me,Qawiy,Haziqol and Hazwan. Ck.Metussin asked the four of us what instrument that we wanna play. The four of us answered. Drums. hmmmm..we were then asked to play.. Seriously at that time. I couldnt even play the snares. I dont know to play Drums..but im really determined to play the snares. Every friday and sunday we came for the theory class with Ck.Metussin. It was hard at first.But then it was okay. heheh..then we had our practical class with Ck.Duraman. Practice rolling..arah tiles yow...hahaha..not long after that the four of us pandai tia rolling..heheh..then we were brought inside the lecture theatre to join u guys..the first person yg aku kenal was Vivian!! hahaha..Colin's sister..then adli..then lama2 i get to know all of you..Azimah,Azeemah,Ummu,Adli,Thinah,Amy,Hazirah,Faiz,Fiqri,Peng,Jane and the rest.. im really happy dapat bekawan sama u guys walaupun kamu my junior. =))



then Azlan came to join the band..while Hazwan and haziqol left the band. then two students..Hadi and Hj.Syafiq joined the Band. They were asked to play the trumpet but unfortunately not long,they quit. Then I was elected as the head of the band.. We did our concert last year. It was amazing. Many people came. Even the principal herself congratulate the Band for the fantastic performance. =)) boooooo....hahaha...hmmm..then the two girls joined our band as a percussion player.. but both of them have already left us..hmmm..apa lagi ah..owh band practice at Police headquaters..ingat?? hahah..i came for the practice but unfortunately,not my luck..i didnt join u guys for the actual day.. pasal kaki ku patah.hahah.. nearer to my As exam. jarang aku datang for the band lagi.ive got revisions to do. heheh..im sorry..



apa lagi ah..owh we suprised the teachers..bagi cake apa..bagi hadiah and all..whose ideas was that? Aku pulang nda tefikirkan buat catu. Atu ertinya all of you are creative and unique. Well. It was a right move pulang. We need to appreciate the teachers. =)) hehe..



message to vivian and syafiq: Vivian continue ur journey as a percussionist. You are very talented. not many females can play snares. you are one of them that can. Keep up the good work. =)) Syafiq, i know ure very knew to this area but boy work hard. U can take Ck.Duraman's place one day. okay..



message to azimah and faiz: You guys pandai main Euphonium atu. hahah..aku suka dgr..pasal ia mcm bass..heheh..faiz..jgntah gauk2 lagi..azimah..marahi faiz kalau ia gauk..hehe..

message to thinah and datul: Suara burung kamu lawa..but lawa lagi suara drum kami. hahah..nada dih..keep up..

heheheh...that's it..now im goin to sleep.. What matter is that u guys have shown ur potential in playing respective instruments. U guys are very talented. Our memories together as a wonderful band will never fade away from my heart. We've been through alot. Though aku ikut band skajap saja..nda sampai one year..i will never forget u guys. =)) i promise..after my Alevel exam this year..i will take my driving license and then i can join u guys again but not as a student..but as an assistant music tutor.. =)) see u guys in school..

Third Official Concert.

So, yesterday, again, marked another memorable day for the Maktab Sains' band members as it was their third official concert. 

Yesterday's concert was held in the auditorium. 

The purpose to do it was to promote our club to the Year 7s and Year 8s. i guess. 

So, now, we'll get on with pictures. Since Haziq inda pandai sabar. :P

Date: Saturday, 31st January 2009.

Time: 1.30pm

Place: Auditorium, Maktab Sains.
